Expected to be released on July 26th this year, Deadpool 3 promises a unique twist as the immortal and witty antihero becomes an official part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Since Marvel Studios confirmed Deadpool’s integration into the MCU, fans have speculated that Wade Wilson would enter this cinematic universe from an alternate timeline. With the concept of the multiverse being increasingly explored in projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and most recently Loki, this theory seems highly persuasive. Moreover, it could provide an explanation for the resurrection of Wolverine, a character who was thought to have met his end years ago.

Recently, Daily Mail indirectly supported this hypothesis by releasing behind-the-scenes photos of Deadpool 3, showcasing the presence of two different versions of Wade Wilson. Alongside the familiar main variant from the previous two films, there is a more stoic version with a man-bun hairstyle and an intact, undamaged face. This appears to be a samurai variant, hinting at a convergence between Deadpool, Wolverine, and the samurai character in their multiverse journey.

In addition to the two human versions of Deadpool, the canine form of Deadpool, known as Dogpool, makes an appearance. This suggests that Deadpool 3 will introduce various incarnations of Wade Wilson, leaving open the possibility that one of them originates from the main MCU timeline. Numerous rumors also hint at the potential inclusion of Lady Deadpool, portrayed by Ryan Reynolds’ real-life wife, Blake Lively.

In the original comic source material, both Dogpool and Lady Deadpool are members of the multiverse Deadpool Corps, consisting of various iterations of the famously cheeky antihero. If Deadpool 3 truly embraces the multiverse concept or features parallel realities, there’s a strong chance that the Deadpool Corps will play a significant role in shaping the future of the MCU.

Set to hit theaters on July 26th, Deadpool 3 is poised to deliver a multitude of Deadpool variants, potentially laying the groundwork for an expansive and diverse future within the MCU.
