The upcoming Superman film from the DC Extended Universe (DCU) is set to unveil five superheroes who have never appeared on the big screen before

The new DC film universe (DCU) will kick off with a standalone Superman movie, accompanied by the introduction of a plethora of superheroes who have never been explored in previous live-action projects.

Peacemaker, in particular, even gained enough popularity to have his own television series, receiving positive reviews from audiences.

Although it is not clear how these 5 new superheroes will be related to Superman, they promise to be special characters with the future of the DCU, serving as a bridge to other superhero teams. For example, The Engineer, a scientist with a liquid body that can create solid objects, has a close relationship with the Authority – a superhero team that also appeared in the first chapter of the DCU.

Metamorpho, a superhero with the ability to transform into various elements and states of matter, is a permanent member of the Outsiders – a team that appeared in the Brave and the Bold comic series and is also the title of the first Batman movie in the DCU. Furthermore, both Hawkgirl and Mister Terrific have relationships with the Justice Society of America. Finally, Guy Gardner, as many fans know, is a Green Lantern and one of the founders of the Justice League.
