Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui are widely known in the media as close friends. The duo met and became acquainted at the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York in the 1980s, where they co-founded a group with British illustrator Will Bromme to develop a collection consisting of handbags, shoes, bag charms, t-shirts, and sweatshirts. Among them are decorative pieces featuring portraits of Sui and Jacobs drawn by Broone, aptly named “Miss and Mister Marc,” with Jacobs’ beloved dog, Neville, making a special appearance in the collection.

This is the latest collection in a series of collaborations with friends of designer Jacobs. Last year, he also worked with Vans to develop limited edition slip-on shoe collections. In 2016, he collaborated with MTV to launch a line of sweatshirts. As for Sui, she frequently collaborates with Bed|Stu to create new styles of handbags or sneakers.

The collection will be launched soon in Japan, followed by global sales on the Marc Jacobs e-commerce website and Anna Sui stores worldwide. Bag charms are priced at around 1.5 million dong (65 USD), while t-shirts range from 2 to 6 million dong (95 USD to 250 USD), and sneakers are priced at approximately 5 million dong. The collection is promised to be a “signature of the year” by the manufacturer.
